Saundra "Sandy" K. Wright

Saundra “Sandy” K. Wright, 68, of Spiceland passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Henry Community Health in New Castle. She was born June 15, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Robert and Edith Faye (Saunders) Crousore.
Sandy retired from 7Up, where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a member of the New Castle Park Board and worked for the Knightstown Courts. Sandy loved to crochet and enjoyed making afghans for other people. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending bible study. Sandy enjoyed being a Nana and loved spending time with her dogs. She enjoyed mountain scenery and walking on the beach in Florida.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Tonia) Simerly, Tara Blankenship and Josh (Dusti) Simerly; grandchildren, Harley Jackson, Tyler Holmes, Elijah Blankenship, Benjamin Simerly, Ryan Blankenship and Sydney Dobbs; brother, Gary Robinson, sisters, Robbie Carver & Teresa Branham along with several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wright in 1996.
