Sharon K. Wittbold

Sharon K. Wittbold, 72, of New Castle passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born April 11, 1947 in Henry County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Paul and Barbara (Byers) Stover.

Sharon retired from Myers Furniture Store after 13 years of service. She had formerly worked at Mayflower, Bekins and Red Ball Trucking Companies as an accountant. Sharon was a member of South Memorial Drive Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, playing video games and collecting dolls.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Richard H. Wittbold; three sons, Mark, Jamie and David Bunch; step daughter, Tammy Harshman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews; three sisters; Shirley Ann Dobbs, Paula Diane (Steve) Snodgress and Connie Lynn (Paul) Davis; and a special cousin, Becky Byers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul David Stover.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Chris Gammello officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
