On Sunday, March 31, 2019 Sheila G. Carter, loving mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 64.
Sheila was born December 5, 1954 in New Castle to Austin P. and Corene Cargile.
She worked at Draper Shade in Spiceland from 1996 to 2010 when she retired. Sheila was a very loving family oriented person who loved doing anything that involved her family and friends, especially spending time with her grandson. She was a 1972 graduate of Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas J. (Kristi) Carter; siblings, Sherri Brown, Eileen (Donnie) Marcum and Ronnie (Joan) Cargile; grandson, Dominick Carter; several nieces and nephews.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 1:00pm Friday April 5, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Dennis Kinser officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11-1pm prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Memorial Wesleyan Church, 115 Fairway Drive, New Castle, IN 47362.
