Shirley Pennycuff, 78, of New Castle passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born August 31, 1943 in Richmond, IN, a daughter of the late Therman and Dorothy (Noggle) Smith.
She worked at The Courier-Times for many years enjoyed playing Bingo and playing games on the computer.
Children, Monica (Mike) Walker of Indianapolis; son, Wayne (Kevin) Pennycuff-Troxell of New Castle; Kimberly Jo (Dan) Morgeson of New Castle, Anita Pennycuff-Parrish of New Castle; grandchildren, David Kline of Muncie, Steven Kline and Michael Kline, both of Cincinnati, OH, Taylor Pennycuff of Lafayette, Jimmy Sullivan of Indianapolis, Justin (Samantha) Guhr of Schererville, Eric Morgeson of New Castle, Aaron (Brandy) Lewis of Kokomo; a sister, Chani Araki of New Castle; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Howard Pennycuff, son, David Kline, grandson, Casey Parrish.
Per Shirley’s request, there will be no public services. She will be buried at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Drive, New Castle, IN 47362. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
