Steven Carl Jackson, 65, of Kokomo, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1953 in New Castle a son of Dale E. Jackson and Sylvia (Wilson) White.
Steve was loving and caring and was a great father and grandpa. He was known to be stubborn, but very sensitive. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and growing a garden with his brother, Richard.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jan; children, Melissa Copeland, Crystal (Michael) Ives, Steven (Kelly) Jackson, Britteny (Dennis) Montag and Ashly (Cole) Boitnott; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Charles “Richard” Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Jackson.
At Steve’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. Burial will be at Glen Cove Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Condolences and memories of Steven may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
