Susan Gail Dishman

Susan Gail Dishman, 61, of Fishers passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Riverview Hospital after an extended illness. She was born June 16, 1956 in New Castle to the late Cledith and Patricia (Wilson) Dishman.

She was a 1974 graduate of New Castle High School and worked for Bob Evans Restaurant in Carmel for over 16 years. Susan was an avid bird watcher and historian, she enjoyed Nature American Literature, the outdoors, canoeing and hiking in earlier years.

She is survived by one son, Gabriel A. Sewell of Hamilton County, IN; her companion of many years, Daniel W. Kosik; sister, Shelia Marion of New Castle; nephews, Elijah Marion, Andrew Marion and D.J. Current all of New Castle, nieces, Brenda Davis of Carmel and Lisa Brooks of St. Myers, FL; sister-in-law, Veronica Brooks of New Castle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Danny Brooks and Terry Dishman.

Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Dr. Jerry DeHart and Dr. Cathy Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m., prior to the memorial service.
