Virginia Lares, 62, of New Castle passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at Henry Community Health. She was born October 16, 1959 in Indio, California to Nicholas Lares and Rosario Perez Romero.
Raised in Coachella she was a firecracker and a former Miss Coachella 1977. Virginia had four children and worked hard to support them. Most of her life was spent working multiple jobs just to support her family and it is those traits that have lead to her children’s success. “My mother demonstrated a hard work ethic but yet was able to always be there for us when we needed her.” Virginia was a bull in a china shop but she was a genuine person.
Throughout Virginia’s life she grew a strong conviction to follow our Lord Jesus Christ and left a lasting legacy that carries on today as all her children follow the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (NKJV). Though it was sad for us to release her she was never ours to keep. We are firm believers that she is in Heaven in a new body where there is no pain but rejoicing and reunited with her youngest child Gabriel.
Virginia is survived by her children Margaret, Rey, and Juan; mother, Rosario and her three siblings.
