Virginia "Jenny" A Montgomery
March 10, 1944 — January 3, 2022
Virginia "Jenny" A. Montgomery, 77, of New Castle passed away Monday January 3, 2022 at Henry County Community Health. She was born on March 10, 1944 in Romulus, MI a daughter of the late Ralph and Charlotte (Crider) Leet.
Jenny loved interacting with others, whether it was at the bowling alley, skating rink or at McDonald’s. She never knew a stranger. Always treated others like family. She would always put the needs of others first. She was a member of the Rose City Breakers (CB) Club known as the “Boss Lady”. She was also a volunteer of the Cerebral Palsy to help raise funds for the cause. She loved listening to music whether she was at a dance or a concert. But most of all family was everything to her.
Jenny is survived by her daughters, Lisa Lucas of New Castle, Theresa (husband:Brad) Deck of New Castle; grandchildren, Nathan Lucas of New Castle, Kaylee and Korey Deck of New Castle; great grandchildren, Ryan and Layla Lucas; sisters, Rosemary (husband:Tom) Capaso of Cleveland, OH and Pat Kellar of Phoenix, AZ; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by an aunt, Alice Crider.
Services will be held at 11:00am Friday January 7, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Brian Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00pm-8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. The family has requested memorial contributions be given to the Virginia Montgomery Memorial Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service to help with funeral expenses.
