Wanda Lee Rose, 63, of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 along with her husband of 42 years, Willie G. Rose, Jr. She was born September 3, 1957 in Albany, KY to Willie Dean and Rose Alice (Lowe) Neal.
She was employed for New Castle High School where she worked as a lunch lady. Wanda was the secretary for Wayne Employees Recreation Park. An animal lover she enjoyed bird watching, cats and dogs. Wanda also enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Brandy Hernandez of New Castle, Willie Gene Rose, III (Kim Mosier) of New Castle, Joshua (Candice) Rose of Spring Hill, FL and Chandra (Brandon) Scott of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Chyna Hernandez, Jadelynn Hernandez, Marissa Compton, Lillian Scott, Rozalyn Scott, Delilah Scott, Bailey Rose and Brayden Rose; father, Willie Dean Neal of Carmel; siblings, Allen (Tammy) Neal of New Castle, Roy (Sharon) Neal of New Castle, Debbie (Willie) Smithers of Corpus Christy, TX, Mary Jo (Craig) Ring of Losantville and Angela Neal of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ray Neal and nephew, Andrew Neal.
Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jim Nichols officiating.
