Willard L. Madden, 82, of New Castle passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at The Waters of New Castle. He was born August 23, 1936 in Soldier, KY to the late Clyde and Stella (Patton) Madden.
Willard served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Chrysler Corporation. After retirement, he enjoyed working on and restoring guns.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Madden of New Castle; children, Myra Razor of New Castle, Sandra (Doug) Chamberlin of New Castle, Will Madden of New Castle; grandchildren, Seth and Emily, Drake; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Willard is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Alan Polston officiating. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion and VFW.
