William Parker “Buddy” Willey III, 70, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born June 27, 1948 in New Castle a son of William P. and Lorena (Morgan) Willey, Jr.
Buddy retired from Trane in Rushville after 41 years of service. He was a jack of all trades, including auto maintenance and body work, carpentry and wood working. Buddy never met a stranger. He was a member of the East Street Christian Church in Carthage.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ronelle Willey of Carthage; children, Troy Parker (Melissa) Willey of Kennard, Stacy Theobald of Morristown; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Bales, Brandon Willey, Benjamin Bales, Parker Theobald, Savannah Theobald; one great grandchild, Kopeland Kreiger; siblings, Roy (Susan) Willey, Rose Willey, Linda Shue, Bob (Debbie) Willey, Jerry (Kelli) Willey, Charles (Sherri) Willey, Kathy Donzell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lillian Willey.
Services will be at 12:30 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service
Knightstown Chapel with David Bonne officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 AM until time of service.
