Wilma Renita Lindsey

Wilma Renita Lindsey, 87, of New Castle passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. She was born December 7, 1930 in Albany, KY to the late Walter and Dora (Stockton) Richardson.
She had been employed at RCA for many years, and then moved to Texas. After returning to New Castle she took up quilting and playing card with friends and neighbors. Wilma especially loved her dogs, Rolly, Angel and J.R.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Duane Carr of Desota, TX; daughters, Brenda Sue (Chris) Carr and Chris Mazza, both of Jackson, TN; sister, Arnell Goodwin of New Castle; brother, Wendell Richardson of Byrdstown, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Earl Richardson, JB Richardson, Bazle Richardson and Perry Hay Richardson and an infant sister, Elizabeth Richardson.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Jerry Ingalls officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Garden. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 6100 W. 96th St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
