Andrew “Andy” Personett, 51, of McCordsville passed away on June 15, 2026, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on May 30, 1975, in Indianapolis to the late Glen and Alma (Holtel) Personett.
Andy was a 1993 Roncalli High School graduate, he went on to earn a degree in Chemical Engineering at Rose Hulman. Andy went to work for New Castle Stainless Plate where became the Vice President of Technical and part of the ownership and management group.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church in New Castle where he served as the chairman of the trustees and served as a sound tech. Andy enjoyed watching the Colts and Pacers along with recreating meals at home that they had eaten at the most recent restaurant he and Faith had visited.
Andy and Faith loved traveling together, some of their favorite places they vacationed at included, Hawaii, London and Boston, they had a trip planned to visit Ireland soon. A loving family man Andy adored spending time with his wife and children and his dog Carl. He was proud of the accomplishments of his sons. Andy cherished his connection with his Pike brothers and their various adventures they as well as many longtime friends embarked upon together.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Faith Personett; sons, Jonathan (Kat) Personett and Christoper Personett; brother, Barry (Christy) Personett; niece, Grace; nephew, Tommy; along with several other nieces and nephews and many great friends.
In addition to his parents Andy is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Andy’s Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday June 19, 2026, at First Baptist Church 709 s. Memorial Dr. New Castle, IN 47362 with Pastor Jerry Ingalls officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. You may share a memory or express a condolence for the family at www.hinsey-brown.com.
