Anna Sue Clark, 75, of New Castle, passed away on September 30, 2026. She was born in Albany, KY, on March 24, 1951, to the late Clyde and Colene (Thrasher) Daniel.
Anna was a homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her home and the people around her. She graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1984. For 21 years, Anna attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Muncie, where she was part of a faith community that was important to her life.
She found joy in the simple and meaningful things she loved. Anna loved gospel music and her home would often be filled with the sounds of The Cookes and other similar artists. Anna enjoyed feeding and watching the birds around her home. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, and doing puzzles. She loved gardening and spent happy time working with her flowers. These interests reflected her patient spirit and her appreciation for beauty, creativity, and quiet moments.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 54 years, Lonnie Clark; her children, Scott (Misty) Clark, Ken (Michelle) Clark, Jeffrey (Brittany) Clark, and Carl (Nila) Clark; grandchildren, Cade, Tyler, Andie, Clay, Morgan, Noah, Dylan, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Lucian; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Kathy) Daniel, Melvin (Veta) Daniel, and Mervin (Retha) Daniel; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell Daniel and Freddie Daniel; son, Lonnie Ray Clark, Jr.; and granddaughter, Isabella Clark.
Services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastors Melvin Daniel and Ron Elam officiating.
