Anna Elizabeth “Beth” Dick, 103, of New Castle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2024, at the Willows of New Castle. She was born on January 9, 1921, in Luretha, KY, a daughter of the late William M. and Anna (Richardson) Benge. In 1940, Beth married her beloved husband, Roy, and together they moved to Indiana in 1943.
She dedicated 31 years of service to Dana Corporation in Hagerstown and was a devoted member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Beth enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making quilts, and cultivating her vegetable garden.
Beth is survived by her children, Joan Goodin and Lewis Dick; grandchildren, Scott (Tammy) Goodin, Sheila (Matt) Fearin, Rhonda Green and Darla Henderson; great grandchildren, Whitney Fearin, Justin (Katy) Fearin, Alyssa Semler, Landon Semler, Callie (Ben) Rewetti, Christie (Chris) Jay, Shane Tillery, Charlie Faircloth, Cassidy (Anthony) Pollard, Quentin (Kat) Goodin, Collin (Ashley) Goodin and Cameron (Jordan) Goodin.
In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son-in-law, George Goodin; daughter-in-law, Sarah Linda Dick; granddaughter, Kim Dick; two sisters, Elsie Compton and Ruby New; brother, Earl Benge.
Beth’s family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the Willows of New Castle and Henry County Hospice for the exemplary care that has been given over the last several months.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, October 28,2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Rev. Charles Dugger and Tony Piper officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Grand Ave. Baptist Church.
