Anna Mae Pierce, 65, of New Castle passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Henry County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 3, 1949 in Henry County, a daughter of the late Richard Jason and Anna (Deavers) Whited.
Anna Mae was a very caring and loving sister and mother. She loved her dog Daisy Mae and aspired to become a foster grandparent.
Survivors include a daughter: Jessica (Andy) Krickenbarger of Arcanum, Ohio; a son: Jason Blanton of North Carolina; a grandson: Christopher Blanton; two sisters: Betty Gibson of Indianapolis and Clara Stoker of New Castle; a brother: Bobby Whited of New Castle; a special friend: Jerry Pierce of New Castle; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister: Charlotte Neal and a brother: David Whited.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Open Arms Church in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church. You may express condolences or share memories of Anna Mae at www.hinsey-brown.com .
