Anthony Claude Hinton, 62, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1958 in New Castle the son of Claude Daniel Hinton and Carol Jean (Williams) Lowhorn.
Tony was a 1976 graduate of Knightstown High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1983 from Kentucky Christian College in Grayson, KY. He then completed 2 years of graduate school at Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, TN. He retired December 2020 from Howden in Connersville where he worked as a machinist and inspector. He enjoyed gardening, history, old movies and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Connie (Jordan) Hinton of Lewisville; sons, John (Carli) Hinton and Joseph Hinton; step-daughter, Rebecca (Randy) Janes; step-son, Brian (Shanna) Nolte; seven grandchildren, Kade, Krue and Karver Hinton, Savanna and Uriah Hinton, Garrett and Katie Janes; brother, Tracy (Sandi) Hinton; sisters Trena (Randy) Morgan and Tiffanie (Randy) Selby; brother-in-law, Rob Woodall; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Tammie Woodall; nephew, Clay Woodall; maternal grandmother, Helma Williams; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Rosa Hinton; step-father, James Hugh Lowhorn; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Eva Jordan.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Glen Cove Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Condolences and memories of Tony may be shared at
