Betty J. Marriott

Betty J. Marriott, 92, of New Castle, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 15, 1925 in New Castle to the late Roy and Lora (Wilkinson) Sears.
She retired from American Fletcher National Bank in Indianapolis in 1982. Betty worked her entire career in payroll and bookkeeping. She was married to the love of her life, Richard Marriott, for nearly 60 years.
Survivors include her son, Norman (Sue) Marriott of PA; daughter, Novella Jane Marriott Rodgers, CA; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kim) Marriott of VA, Jennifer (Jason) Iyoob of PA, Timothy Rodgers of CA, and Lindsey Rodgers (Bahadir) Durmus of Turkey; three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Marriott and son-in-law Christopher Rodgers.
