Billy F. Morgan

Billy F. Morgan, 82, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born February 22, 1943 in Monticello, Kentucky to Estill and Hattie “Pat” (Roysdon) Morgan.

Billy retired from Fisher Guide division of General Motors in Anderson after 38 years of dedicated service. He served on the board of the Wittenbraker and Henry County YMCA. Billy loved eating at Temptations Restaurant on a daily basis. He was a huge sports buff and a dedicated Pacers and Colts fan. He attempted to play golf with friends. If you knew Billy, he was your best friend and he always helped anyone he could. He also had a soft spot for animals, feeding the birds and squirrels around his home. He dearly loved his dog Tuffy.

Those left to cherish Billy’s memory are his daughter, Patti (Mike) Slover of New Castle; grandchildren, Matthew (Cierra) VanHoose, Andrew (Ashli) VanHoose, Jessica (Marco) Vasquez, Olivia Slover, Dustin and Justin Slover; great-grandchildren, Colin VanHoose, Molly VanHoose, Vinny Slover, Esray Vasquez, Michael Slover and Aljah Montes; special companion, Wanda Hinshaw; several cousins and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Morgan and a nephew, Steve Morgan.

Services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bill Palmer officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Henry County YMCA, 300 Wittenbraker Ave, New Castle, IN 47362 or Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Dr., New Castle, IN 47362.
