Bob Pugh, 88, of Grand Island, FL formerly of Knightstown passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025. He was born on December 1, 1936, in Lick Creek, KY to the late Tom and Bessie (Owens) Pugh.
He worked for Ford Motor Company for over 41 years during that time Bob worked his way up to Floor Inspector before retiring. Bob was also an Electrolux salesman and topped trees. Over the years Bob did everything he could to provide for his family. He enjoyed working out in the yard, planting wildflowers and working his garden. Bob and his brother Cecil worked hard to build the house that he and Garnet raised their children in. He attended the Church of the Nazarene where Bob was faithful to his Lord and Savior, serving him anyway he could. He always enjoyed the old hymns that they sang in Church.
Bob is survived by his children, Cindy (Bobby) Humphrey and Robert Alan (Donna) Pugh; grandchildren, Hannah (David) Hibbets, Brooke (Austin) Craft and Kirsten Ayers; great grandson, Clayton; and soon to be great granddaughter, Delilah Mae; brother, William Thomas Pugh and Cecil Pugh; sister, Della McCombs; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Bob is preceded in death by the love of his life, Garnet Pugh; brothers, Delbert Pugh, Zach Pugh and Pat Pugh; sisters, Faye Smith and Marie Gauker.
Services will be on Saturday May 31, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Bob at www.hinsey-brown.com.
