Brice Edward Privett, 57, of New Castle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Brice was born in Muncie on April 25, 1968 to Edward E. Privett and Vicki (Drabing) Lewis. He graduated from Chrysler High School in 1986. Brice was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend who would do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Brice was employed as a machine repair technician at Chrysler, Navastar and INTAT during his working years. He was very proud of his journeyman card with the UAW. Brice loved riding and working on his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A few of his hobbies included fishing, gardening and going on walks with his kids.
Brice is survived by his children, Josie and Jesse Privett; mother, Vicki Lewis; sister, Dana Claywell; step-mother, Connie Privett; step-sister, Heather Moles, step-brother, Heith Moles; special friend, Kim Houser; Nieces, Cassidy Tuttle and Kaycie Moles; nephews, Sam Cross, Josh Moles and Dylan Moles; great-nieces, Cora Smith and Avery Tuttle; great-nephews, Keaton and Kamdyn Moles; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Privett; stepfather, Jim Lewis; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Cathleen Drabing; paternal grandparents, Orville and Ola Privett.
At Brice’s request there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Brice at www.hinsey-brown.com.
