Britney Nicole "Nikki" West, 44, of Troy, IL, born June 11, 1981, in Muncie, IN and passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Troy, IL.

Nikki enjoyed watching a good movie and listening to music. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed the times spent together.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Miller, Oliver and Azalia West.

She is survived by her son, Liam Nikolai Drummond; her sister, Danielle (Will) Nevin of Lebanon, IL, who lovingly raise Liam; parents, Kathy (Miller) (Curtis Gaultney) West of Troy, IL and Jeffery Keith West of New Castle, IN; her sister, Lexi Volkmann of Troy, IL; brothers, Matthew Lee (Emily) Hurst of New Castle, IN and Christopher (Hannah) West of Carmel, IN; grandmother, Barbara Miller of New Castle, IN; nieces, Eliza Hurst and Ivy West, nephew, Danny Hurst; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Illinois: A celebration of Nikki's life will be held at Tri-Township Park in Troy, IL on Saturday, June 13th, 2026.
