Cathy D. Crabtree, 55, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 15, 2008 in Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born December 14, 1952 in Greenfield a daughter of Junior and Evelyn Adams.
She was a 1970 graduate of Knighstown High School. Cathy was a homemaker, who dedicated her life to her family, especially her daughter, Brandi. Brandi was the center of Cathy’s life. Cathy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter: Brandi R.Crabtree of Indianapolis; Brandi’s father: Larry Crabtree of New Castle; brothers: Allen (wife: Victoria) of Shelbyville; Gary Adams of Noblesville; sister: Lynne Adams of Shirley; aunt: Norma Smith of Knightstown; several nieces, nephews and great nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: John Adams.
Services will be held at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel, Friday, September 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jack Hannum officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the funeral home.
