Charles "Bud" Baker

Charles “Bud” Baker, 81, of Knightstown passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born May 30, 1941 in Franklin County, IN the son of Lloyd and Florence (Isaacs) Baker.
Bud was employed at Greenfield Water Company for 24 years retiring in 2006. He loved to fish, work crossword puzzles, was a jokester and always had a comeback.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Alice M. (Steward) Baker; sons, Charles (Amy) Baker, Jr. of TN, Michael Baker of FL, Robert (Deena) Baker of FL, Robin Baker of FL, Jesse (Kim) Baker of FL, Kevin (Brenda) Owens of KY and Dave Owens of Cannelton; daughter, Tina Maysey of KY; brother, Jesse (Judy) Baker of NC; sister, Geneva Baker of Laurel; grandchildren, Charles III, Hannah, Noah, Christopher, Stephanie, Andrea, Bobby, Ashley, Amanda, Amber, Michael, Jerri, Jamie, Brandon, Bradley, Carrie Lynn, Daniele, Shaylin, Devin, Grace, Krista, Jennifer and Dylan; several great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Baker; a daughter, Jerri Baker; a brother, Loyd Baker, Jr.; granddaughters, Lisa and Sierra; sisters, Evelyn Barnes, Reba Eldridge and Betty Brewer.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Carthage Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in Carthage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Condolences and memories of Bud may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
