Connie Lane Workman

Connie Lane Workman, 77, a resident of New Castle, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at Glen Oaks Health Campus. She was born December 31, 1948 in Muncie to the late Paul Smith and Betty (Horner) Bell.

Connie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in New Castle. Her hobbies included making quilts for friends and family members. Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons: Don Workman of Ingalls, IN and Chris Workman of Piqua, OH; a daughter: Rosetta (Steve) Molden of Kettering, OH; four grandchildren: Skylar and Shelby Workman, Steven and Cori Molden; a great-grandson: Kendall Tolbert; a brother: Lynn (Debbie) Bell of Tempe, AZ; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her step-parents: Dillard Bell and Dorothy Smith and a sister: Brenda (Bobby) Upchurch.
