Dana Elaine Daffron-Keith

Dana Elaine Daffron-Keith, 72, of New Castle passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Willows of New Castle following several years of failing health. She was born February 11, 1953 in New Castle to the late Arnold and Virginia (Gard) Thurston.

Dana was a free spirit and loved to have a good time. She was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and later worked at Cardinal Health Services, caring for residents in group homes. Dana loved spending time with her friends, country music, going to concerts and enjoyed being a member of the Country Music Club.

She is survived by her children, Matthew (Nikki) Daffron, Meghann (Chris) Gulley; grandchildren, Connor, Cadence, Cory, Carter and Caleb; brothers, Kenny (Patty) Thurston, David (Altie) Thurston and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Steve Daffron who passed in 2008; second husband, Joe Keith who passed in 2019; and an infant son, Aaron Daffron.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
