Denna Lee Conyers

February 24, 1948 — July 14, 2024

Spiceland

Denna Lee Conyers, 76, of Spiceland passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Community North Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 24, 1948 to the late Rosemary Conyers.

Denna, Dean, Dingaling, and Daddio were four of the many nicknames he held among friends and family. He prided himself on the label of a “Spiceland Animal.” With this pride he coached many stingers teams throughout his kids’ athletic careers.

Before children he served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war. Devoted night shift worker of 37 years for Chrysler Corp. He met many friends of all walks of life, from motorcyclist to RC car racing, his favorite, forever, being those who enjoyed music. Bands he played in were Live Wire, Killerwatt, Designated Driver, Spirit of Roth, among many other step-in musical groups.

Though all of the topics discussed above were dear to his heart, he was nothing less of a wonderful father to us children. Teaching many valuable life lessons to all children he came across in this lifetime. He showed us love that will never be forgotten. Forever loving his children, grandchildren, and even great grandchild.

He is survived by his adoring children; Harmony (Jason) Miller, Starbuck (Kristy) Conyers, Elizabeth Gabbard, Aaron Benson (Samantha), Kierstyn Conyers. grandchildren; Faxson Brown II., Gavin (Ashley) Miller, Blade Miller, Simon Miller, Christian Conyers, Bryden Conyers, Erilynn Conyers, Kendall Gabbard, Keaton Benson, Savannah Gabbard; great grandchild, Faxson Brown III.

Surviving loving mothers of the children; Brenda Nicholson & Sally Gettinger.

Preceded in death by mother Rosemary Conyers, grandmother Emma Davidson, granddaughter Finnleigh Gabbard.
