Dianna Marie Hill, age 54, of New Castle, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Henry Community Health in New Castle. Born March 2, 1972, in New Castle, Dianna spent her life deeply connected to her family and her community.
She worked at the New Castle Correctional Facility for nearly two years, following a dedicated 24-year career at Walmart in New Castle. Dianna found joy in simple pleasures like beach visits, reading, and puzzles, but her greatest love was spending cherished moments with her grandchildren.
Dianna leaves behind her two beloved daughters: Kylie Hill, engaged to Kamaria Lewis, and Jordan Hill with partner Isaac Neal, all residing in New Castle. She is also survived by her mother, Roxanna Marie Hill, her brother David Hill and partner Angela Murphy, her adored grandchildren, Raidyn, Grayson, Isaac III, and Lamar. Dianna's legacy also lives on through her great-niece Zoey Hill, great-nephew Gunner, and sister-in-law Kim Gordon-Hill. She will be dearly missed by her special friends Katrina Pass, Kim Thompson, Melissa Brown, and Rhonda Mock. Dianna is also survived by extended family members and a host of friends.
Her father Timothy D. Hill, brother Michael Shawn Hill, uncle Michael Leroy Laird, paternal grandmother Lavinia Lee Hill, and maternal grandmother Helen Marie Igo preceded her in death, along with several cousins.
Services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tony Darling. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, August 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
