Donna Kaye Dellinger, 76, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at IU Health Ball Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 8, 1945 in Muncie to the late Clyde and Beulah (Bundy) Wood.
Donna was a graduate of Ball State University, earning her bachelor’s degree in social work. She later worked for the State of Indiana as a Child Advocate for many years. She was a faithful and devoted member of First Assembly of God in New Castle and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna enjoyed going on family camping trips, traveling and going to antique tractor shows with her husband, Tom.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom Dellinger; children, Steve (Sheila) Dellinger of New Castle, Brian (Brenda) Dellinger of Muncie, Seveana (Matt) Fowler of Muncie and Heather (Jeremy) Large of New Palestine; grandchildren, T.J. Dellinger (Amber), Josh (Casey) Dellinger, Jeremy (Tanisha) Dellinger, Miranda (Dan) McKee, KayLee (Brandon) Netherton, Kody (Faith) Fowler, Korbin (Maura) Fowler, Kolton (Cassidy) Fowler, Kloee Fowler, Gunnar Large (Danielle), Ryker Large, Kade Large; great grandchildren, Briceton, Kimberlee, Audree, Maddy, Eli, Josey, Stevie, Ethan, Sydney, Tenley, Addison, Brodie, Charlie; a sister, Judy Wiley of Middletown; brothers in law, John (Gertrude) Dellinger and Russell Dellinger; close friends, Jerry (Kathy) Gossage and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at First Assembly of God in New Castle with Pastor Steve Gallaway officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
