Elizabeth Carol Bennett

Elizabeth C. Bennett, 71, of Knightstown, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born July 13, 1953, in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Nancy Carol (Griffith) Kracht. 

Elizabeth was a very caring, loving, kind and considerate person. She never knew a stranger and was everyone’s friend. Kind and gentle, yet independent, she enjoyed being a homemaker, enjoyed thrifting, garage sales and loved her dog, Bobo. 

She loved her six children, three of whom are living. She is also survived by her three sisters, Patricia Beck of Greenfield, Teresa Withrow of Melbourne, FL and April Barnett of Knightstown; one brother, James Kracht of Sabastian, FL; several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and three children, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Carl Kracht, and a sister, Rhona Proffitt.
