Elizabeth “Betty” Ann (Lines) Wisehart, age 100, of rural Cadiz, passed away on February 14, 2026, at The Willows in New Castle. She was born on May 14, 1925, in New Castle to the late Everett Gabriel and Mary Catherine (Miers) Lines.

Betty was born and raised in Henry County. She graduated from Cadiz High School in 1943, just a few days before she married the love of her life, Donald Wisehart. They were married 46 years until his passing in 1989. She spent sixteen years working as a clerk for the Harrison Township Trustee and served four years on the Advisory Board. She also served on the Cadiz Alumni Committee several years. Foremost, Betty was a devoted mother who always put family first. Her purpose in life was raising her family of four. She loved gardening, canning, and scrapbooking in her free time, but found an even greater joy in playing games and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as “Grandma Betty” and “GG”. She was always involved in her children’s lives, attending events and supporting their aspirations. She even wrote a book for her children in which she chronicles her own childhood. She will never be forgotten.

Betty is survived by her children: Marilyn (Bob) Bell, Janice (Richard) Margison, Carolyn (Michael) Manifold, and daughter-in-law: Pat Wisehart; Grandchildren: Karla (Rod) Jester, Bryant (Debbie) Margison, Derek (Jennifer) Phelps, Christopher (Mackie Brown) Manifold, Tricia (Keith) Kelich, Scott (Vanessa Villamil) Manifold, Wendy (Bart) Butterfield, and Kevin Wisehart; Great-Grandchildren: Brittany (Tony) Martin, Megan (Bon) Disborough, Spencer (Mackenzie) Conwell, Evan (Caitlyn Creiglow) Margison, Kara (Frank) Garza, Cassie (Jacob) Jackson, Matthew (Marissa Templet) Kelich, Edward Kelich, Nevaeh Butterfield, Conner Butterfield, and Sophie Phelps, Great Great Grandchildren: Maddison Disborough, Tucker Martin, Aiden Disborough, Lindy Martin, Logan Jackson, Jace Jackson, Makayla Disborough, Kade Jackson, Ezra Muraoka, Kaysen Disborough, Akira Garza, MarsaliConwell, and Lily Anne Kelich; Brother Larry Lines, and Sisters: Mary (Tom) Murray and Peggy (Ron) Dick. Numerous Nieces and Nephews survive who all held a special place in her heart.
