Floyd Henry Flynn

Floyd Henry Flynn, 79, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 26, 1947, in Burnside, Kentucky, a son of the late Claude and Katherine (Brooks) Flynn.

Floyd attended Walter P. Chrysler Memorial High School and was the proud owner and operator of Floyd’s Gutter Service for many years.

Floyd enjoyed spending time on the golf course, playing bingo, and making trips to the horse track. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his longtime spouse, Carol Blevins; children, Laura (Chad) Brown, Brian (Shelley Lee) Flynn, Lyndie (Kevin Allen) Fletcher; grandchildren, Maura (Korbin) Fowler, Kyle Fletcher, Wade Flynn, and Eli Flynn; siblings, Harold (Debbie) Flynn, Rick (Janet) Flynn, Etta (Don) Watson, Nancy (Darrell) Sutherland, Connie (Jo) Flynn, and Janet Davis.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his siblings, Ralph, James, Judy, Robin, and Vicki.
