Frank E. Burnett Jr.

Frank E. Burnett Jr., 66, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

He was a truck driver for 41 years and was currently employed by Billman Trucking, New Point, IN, since February 9, 2026. Prior to working for Billman, he was employed by Jacobs Trucking in Rushville, IN for 11 years.

Frank was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School. He was born to Frank E. Burnett Sr. and Alona (Zahm) Burnett on April 12, 1960; he was the oldest of six siblings.

Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Sue (Bough) Burnett of New Castle; son, Samuel (Abi) Burnett and a grandson, Houston all of York, PA; siblings, Richard (Anna) Burnett, Michelle (Robert) Morris, Danielle (Kurt) Lowery and Margariettia Lucas all of Indianapolis, IN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his oldest son, Joseph Burnett on April 26, 2026; brothers, Johnny and Douglas Burnett; in-laws, Joseph and Janice Bough.

Frank’s wishes were to have a simple cremation with no public services. Entombment will take place at South Mound Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
