Gary Dale Patrick

Gary Dale Patrick, 79, of Greenfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Majestic Care of Southport. He was born December 4, 1943 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Tivis and Dessie (Plank) Patrick.

Gary was a veteran of the United States Marines. He retired from Delco Remy following 40 years of service. He married the love of his life, Katherine (Ramona) Patrick on November 8, 1969 and spent 53 wonderful years together. Together, they resided in Knightstown for 40 years. Gary loved the Lord and enjoyed serving God and working with youth group at Knightstown Church of God along with his wife, Ramona. He enjoyed singing in nursing homes and at church with his wife. He loved decorating for the holidays, spending time with family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in need. He and Ramona attended Faith Chapel Church of Knightstown.

He is survived by the love of his life, Ramona; brothers, Burgess (Betty) Patrick and Norman Patrick; sister in law, Virgie Patrick and much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Graydon Patrick, sister in law, Arlene Patrick; father and mother in law, Morton and Ithel Gregory.

Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by contingents from the U.S. Marines and Knightstown American Legion.
