George B. "Buddy” James, 59, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 10, 1962 in Connersville, Indiana, a son of George R. and Lola (Meyer) James of New Castle.
George was a 1980 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He had been employed as a tow truck driver in New Castle for 15 years. George was formerly employed at Village Pantry, Flagman gas station and Ben Franklin in New Castle. He enjoyed bowling and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Karen (Mark ) Good of Greensburg and Sandra Davis of New Castle; nieces & nephews, Blake Davis (Brittany Bell), Chelsea (Sean) Muha and Kyle( Jamie) Good; great nieces & nephews, Jaxon Bell-Davis, Jaden, Jordan & Kora Good.
George is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George & Versa James; maternal grandparents, Arnold & May Meyer; uncles, Gene James, Jimmie James and Guy Neeley; aunts, Jeannetta James, Kimberly James and Donna Meyer; and his beloved dog, Diesel.
Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Tony Piper officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association.
