Gracelynn Nevaeh Daniels

Gracelynn Nevaeh Daniels, 19, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. On September 29, 2006, Gracelynn was born in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of Christin (Wiggins-Bash) Gibson.

Gracelynn was a 2025 graduate of New Castle High School, where she proudly participated in color guard for nine years. She was currently attending Ball State University, studying Environmental Science. Gracelynn had a sassy, funny, energetic personality and a kind, caring spirit that drew people to her. She loved spending time with her many friends and family; she never liked to be alone. She enjoyed the ocean, especially trips to Gulf Shores, diamond painting, and caring for her beloved animals, including her four dogs and two cats.

Gracelynn’s “tree hugging spirit” fed her desire to study Environmental Science which led to an internship through the Henry County Solid Waste Management District and she organized Climate Fest at the Arts Park here in New Castle. She attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church and participated in Bible Study Fellowship.

Gracelynn is survived by her mothers, Christin and Emily Gibson; siblings, Gavyn, Jaelynn, Riley, Thea and Calliope; grandparents, Melissa Savage, Mike (Sherrie) Gibson, and Travis Lyall; aunts and uncles, Suzzann (Monte) Bottoms, Angella Abrams, Mike (Suzanne) Gibson, and Brad (Amy) Gibson; special cousin, Tatum; and many cousins including Shawn, Paige, Greysen, Megan, Avionna (Pablo), Addison, Landen, Ayden, and Zayne.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, Harry and Yettiva Wade, and her Nana and best friend, Sharron Logan.

Services will be held at 7:00pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to the New Castle High School Band Department in Gracelynn’s honor.
