Henry Holthouser Sr.

Henry Holthouser Sr., 63, of New Castle passed away on Friday February 6, 2026. He was born on June 18, 1962, in Anderson, IN to the late Gilbert and Bernice Holthouser.

Known for being a generous man, Henry would give the shirt off his back to help family or friends in need. He loved his children dearly. He would spend hours talking with his friends. Henry had a passion for gardening, especially flowers, he truly had a green thumb. He was a Jack of all trades and loved old muscle cars.

Henry is survived by his sons, Henry (Kaitlin Esham) Holthouser Jr., Nelson Holthouser and Hunter Holthouser; daughter, Marissa Holthouser; grandchildren, Henry III, Xander and GweniVere; siblings, Deborah (Scott) Castle, Sharron (Rob) Cottrell and Pam (Jeff) Quinton.

In addition to his parents Henry is preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Nelson Holthouser Jr; sister, Sue Gabbard.
