James Michael Yeager

James Michael Yeager, known as Mike to family and friends, age 89, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Mike was born February 22, 1937, in Dublin, Ohio, and was the son of the late Mr. James F. and Mrs. Katherine (Beamer) Yeager.

Mike proudly served in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career at Multi Graphics, where he worked for nearly 50 years and was known for his steady work ethic and reliability. Mike was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading, traveling, wintering in Arcadia, Florida and most of all, spending time with his family. His stories, laughter, and love will remain with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Carol J. Gerken-Yeager of New Castle, Indiana; his children, Robin Kruer, Michele (Bill) Whittemore, and Scott (Joy) Yeager; as well as many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; his sisters, Rosemary Wallace, and Kathy Stegner and several nieces and nephews.
