Jane "Nan" Ludlum

Jane “Nan” Ludlum, 79, of New Castle passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 2, 2024. She was born

on October 5, 1944 in New Castle to the late George and Roxie (Barnes) Nicely.

She loved shopping, crafting and decorating. Jane previously attended Grand Ave. Baptist Church. She

cherished her family and spending time with them.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Julie (Billy) Guffey of New Castle and Melody (Allan) Rice of Rushville;

grandchildren, Holly (Kerry) Turner, Adam (Jennifer Smith) Buckley, Aly (Ryan) Burns, Andrew (Madison

Cunningham) Rice and Mackenzie (Landon) Speers; great grandchildren, Zoe, Kollin, Sophie, Olivia, Lizzy,

Maverick, Jonas and Lucy; sister, Anne Vaughn; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Ludlum and son, Allen Smith.

A private burial will take place at South Mound West Lawn Cemetery.
