Jennifer L. Enix

Jennifer L. “Jenny” Enix, 64, of New Castle passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at The Willows of New Castle. She was born October 18, 1960 in New Castle to the late Kenneth and Betty (Murray) Enix.

Jenny was employed at Henry County Memorial Hospital for many years where she was the supervisor of the laundry department. She later worked part time at Wal-Mart in New Castle in the vision department. Jenny was a member of the New Castle Eagles Women's Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge of New Castle. She and her companion, Bo ran the kitchens at both the Elks Bingo Hall and the Eagles Lodge. Jenny had attended Salem Primitive Baptist Church. She loved entertaining people and feeding them a hearty homemade meal. Jenny was an active member of Henry County Cerebral Palsy Foundation for several years.

Those left to cherish Jenny’s memory are her brother, Rusty (Nancy) Enix of New Castle; sister, Clara Jean Enix of New Castle; sister-in-law and caregiver; Pauline Brammer of New Castle; two nephews, Aaron Enix of Indianapolis and Jason Enix of New Castle; two nieces, Kolby Enix of DeMotte, Indiana and Kaydence Enix of New Castle and best friend, Sue Ballenger of New Castle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion James “Bo” Bowen.

Per Jenny’s request there will be no public service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Cerebral Palsy of Henry County. You may express condolences or share a memory of Jenny at www.hinsey-brown.com.
