Jennifer L. Hammond

Jennifer L. Hammond, 60, of New Castle, passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness. She was born on September 23, 1964, in Elwood, a daughter of the late Charles and Charlene Long.

Jennifer graduated from Elwood High School in 1983 and worked at several nursing homes in the Muncie and New Castle areas as a Q.M.A., until becoming disabled due to injuries. She enjoyed watching Soap Operas.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Gunn of Muncie and Robert Gunn of Daleville; four grandchildren; her fiancé, Randy Dalton of New Castle, a sister, Kathy Capshaw; and a brother, Jeffrey Long.
