Jennifer Lynn Walker, 47, of New Castle, passed away surrounded by her family on March 5, 2026. She was born in New Castle on January 25, 1979, to Joseph and Cynthia Walker (Sexton).
A proud graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School in 1998, Jennifer furthered her education at Indiana Business College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in office management in 2003, achieving a place on the dean's list.
Jennifer was a devoted mother who, despite not believing she could have children, received the blessing of her daughter, Faith, 14 years ago. Jennifer chose her daughter’s name as a testament to the faith in God that had carried her through life, exemplifying her deep connection to her beliefs and values.
In her daily life, Jennifer was known for her strength and resilience. She possessed a bright sense of humor that could light up a room and a talent for storytelling that captivated her friends and family. She was caring and always putting others before herself. Whether she was sewing, crafting, gardening, or enjoying the great outdoors, Jennifer poured love and creativity into every aspect of her life. She had a passion for cooking and a love for music that filled her everyday life with songs from all genres.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Faith Lynn Walker; mother, Cynthia Sexton; father, Joe (Robin) Walker; brother, Michael (Stacie) Ridenour; nieces, Alyssa Flowers, Grace Sexton, and Robbie Ann Sexton; nephew, Aiden Flowers; maternal grandparents, Bob and Ruby Sexton; aunt, Anita (Mike) Dalton; uncles, Larry Sexton and Rob (Andrea) Sexton; special aunt, Michelle Davis; 7 out of state siblings; special friend and companion, Scott Reynolds; and several cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fred and Charlotte Walker; uncle, Mike Walker; cousin, John Dalton; and very special dog, Shyla.
