Jerri Sharp

Jerri Sharp, 75, of Spiceland, passed away on August 12, 2026. She was born in Henry County on May 23, 1951, to the late Jack Sharp and Joan (Bundy) Austerman.

Jerri graduated from Spiceland High School where she played in the band. After school, she began her career at Western Electric, ultimately retiring from there. She loved dogs, having several of her own, and her sharp mind found daily exercise in crossword puzzles, which she never missed. Jerri was also an avid reader, especially drawn to mystery books. Music stuck with her through the years as she loved listening to Neil Diamond. Jerri enjoyed weekends together with her niece Sara, exploring parks or playing games at Chuck E. Cheese. Those who knew Jerri will remember her for the kindness she extended to others. She was always willing to help in any way she possibly could.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Joyce for all the care and support she gave to Jerri over the years.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving niece, Sara (Jesse) Berryman.

In addition to her parents, Jerri was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Joseph Austerman.
