Jerry Lee Terry

Jerry Lee Terry, 60, a resident of New Castle passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jerry worked in construction and was an accomplished roofer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, drinking and cleaning his guns.

Survivors include two daughters: Jennifer Lynn Terry and Allison Jean Terry, both of New Castle; his father: Randall Godfrey of New Castle; a sister: Christina Evans of Illinois and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marion and Anna Bell Terry; his mother: Linda Godfrey, his wife: Annitta Jane Terry, brothers: Bobby and Michael Brown; a niece: Jessie Evans and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle where his cremation will take place. You may express condolences or share memories of Jerry at www.hinsey-brown.com.
