Jill Louise Sharp

Jill Louise Sharp, 60, of Knightstown passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born June 9, 1965 in Greenfield, the daughter of Robert Hugh and Betty (Sylvester) Grandison.

Jill was employed as a private client account manager with AJ Gallagher Insurance in Nashville, TN. She held CIC, CRM, CPRM and API certifications to perfect her work skills for 24 years. An avid walker, she also loved to read, enjoyed traveling, caring for her plants and enjoyed having new experiences.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother: Betty (Sylvester) Grandison; four children: Calla Sharp of Arlington, VA, Cayna Sharp of Washington, DC, Carra Sharp of Busan, South Korea, and Carma Sharp of Nashville, TN; several grand pets including Rosie, Waffle, and Sonny; a brother: Brian Hugh (Shelli) Grandison of Connersville; niece: Kayla (Matt) May of Knightstown; nephew, Kurtis Grandison of Goodlettsville, TN; great niece, Laramie May.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hugh Grandison.

Jill possessed an inner quiet strength. Her middle name reflected her warrior qualities. Her Strength in God was acquired through hardship and Jill remained faithful to the very end.
