Joseph Raymond Cole

Joseph Raymond Cole, 63, of Mooreland passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his home. He was born on June 21, 1960 in Fort Knox, KY.

A self-employed mechanic, Joseph retired from Pritchett Excavating and Rich King Diesel Mechanics. He also worked in Ft. Myers, FL laying tile on roofs. A graduate of North Ft. Myers High School, Joseph loved antique motorcycles and cars and especially riding his Harley-Davidson. He could fix nearly anything and enjoyed working on bicycles from a young age. Joseph was known to be very caring and outgoing, never having met a stranger. He also loved his four-legged kids, Trixie, Pup, Fex and Sissy.

Survivors include his companion: Julie Pollitt of Mooreland; children, Joseph Raymond (Jennifer) Cole, Jr of Michigan, Jaxon Cole of New Castle, Mandy (Jamie) Pulido of Michigan and Shalyn (Ryan) Duff of Ft. Myers, FL; four grandchildren, Melanie, Anthony, Makenzie and Delaney; father, Raymond (Lori) Cole of Mooreland; two sisters: Clarissa Williams of Ft. Myers, FL and Cheryal (Larry) Dillinger of Terre Haute; a step-brother, Nick; an uncle, Jack; nieces and nephews, Jake, Angela, Jeremy, Brian and Seth and his grandmother, Betty Hampton of New Castle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Cole; a sister, Theresa McDonley and a brother, Michael Cole.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with Pastor Steve Dugger officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of Joseph at www.hinsey-brown.com .
