Joseph "Joe" Robert Wilkinson

Joseph “Joe” Robert Wilkinson, 49, of New Castle passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at Henry Community Health. He was born January 6, 1977 in New Castle to William “Bob” Wilkinson and Donna Sue (Deck) Scarce.

Joe attended Tri High School and was truly a jack of all trades, with a knack for tinkering and a passion for working on cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandsons. His pride and joy was his Harley Davidson he meticulously built. Beyond the garage, Joe was an avid fisherman, often sharing stories and tips with his grandsons, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Throughout his career in construction and landscaping, Joe was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, always ready to assist anyone in need.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Samantha Wilkinson; grandchildren, Logan, Ryan and Lucas; father, William “Bob” Wilkinson; mother, Donna Sue (Tim) Scarce; sister, Tammy (Jason) Bever; nephew, Kyle; nieces, Avery and Kendall and several cousins and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Zola Wilkinson; maternal grandparents, Jasper and Margaret Deck.
