Judy L. Lash, 71, of New Castle passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born June 22, 1949 in Washington, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Thurman M. and Mabel E. (Scott) Peel.
She was a 1969 graduate of Nursing School in Washington and retired from St. John’s Hospice in Anderson. Judy earned a degree in Business Management and Accounting from Waynesburg University. She attended Blue River Valley Nazarene Church and enjoyed working crosswords, Sudoku puzzles, watching television, but mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Heather Couch of New Castle and Robert (Ginny) Lash of Anderson; grandchildren, Colton (Baylee) Couch, Rebekah Couch, Bethany Couch, Phoenix Lash and Aideyn Lash; and her sister, Marigene Golinski of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Peel.
At Judy’s request, there will be no public services held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may express condolences or share a memory of Judy at www.hinsey-brown.com .
