Julie Clark

Julie Elaine (Bell) Clark, age 68, of Beech Grove, IN, who passed away at her home on July 22, 2026.

Julie grew up in New Castle, IN, and was a 1976 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, where she was active in choir and theatre. She loved music, attending plays—including seeing Jersey Boys on Broadway—and traveling. In her youth, she took annual July vacations across the U.S. with her family, and later in life, she loved visiting the beach and traveling to Hawaii with her best friend, Dee. Julie was also a passionate fan of IU, chocolate, Diet Coke, animals, and the strawberry pie her mother made for her birthday every year. She worked for many years in customer service, retiring in 2019 from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where she enjoyed rooting for the Pacers and helping concert goers attend their favorite events.

Julie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank W. Bell and Iva Jean (Kuhn) Bell, her brother, Terry L. Bell, and her sister-in-law, Gloria Bell.

Those left to cherish her memory are Liz and Curt Jones, aunt, Delores Asberry of New Castle, cousins, Ronald Asberry of Noblesville, Kim Porter of New Castle, Steve Bailey of Knightstown, Joanne Jones of Rushville, Lisa Kuhn-Waltz of Hagerstown, Tim Kuhn of Dallas TX, Jerry Kuhn of Colorado Springs Colorado, Karen Kissick of Muncie, Etsuko Jarvis of Muncie, along with many nieces and nephews, her best friends Deanna and David McCormick of Phoenix, Arizona, and family friends Brian, Amanda, Carter (Jessie), Reece, and Cooper Witham. Her furry friends Ellie, Arlo, and Mavis will also dearly miss her. She will be deeply missed, and we take comfort knowing she is now free from dialysis and at peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm a Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with inurnment to follow at South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
