Karen E. Rubenstein, 65, of New Castle passed away Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on July 28, 1960.
Karen graduated from Chrysler High School in New Castle and retired from the U.S. Post Office in Muncie following many years of service. She had attended Chicago Corner Church near Hagerstown.
She is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Hank Blevins of New Castle, and several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing.
